Hey, I'm Ronja
I am a wellbeing coach, social worker, and senior manager in an international NGO. My coaching focuses on mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, drawing from my extensive background in coaching, social work, human rights, intuitive eating counseling, and NGO leadership. I am deeply committed to supporting women who are ‘helpers’ - those who give so much to others that they often lose sight of their own needs and desires.
My Story
My own journey to self-leadership reflects many common challenges faced by women: perfectionism that feels out of control, the impulse to ‘rescue’ others, and impostor syndrome. While these traits have their purpose, they often kept me stuck. Over time, I found freedom by cultivating mindful self-compassion—reminding myself that making mistakes is human—and by reexamining my core beliefs about my value in the world. I learned to focus on who I am rather than just what I do, to respect my body through meaningful self-care and stress management (hint: it’s not just spa days), and to shift from rescuing others to showing compassion and care without losing myself. Most importantly, I found my voice by expressing boundaries and embracing anger as a natural emotion, channelling it constructively through non-violent communication.
With 19 years of experience working with people, I’ve come to hold a few core truths:
-
There are many ways to navigate life, and each person is the expert of their own journey.
-
The body deserves as much respect as the mind.
-
Every individual is unique and worthy of exploring their authentic self.
-
A sense of belonging, support and connection with others are essential to thrive - both to give and to receive.
These principles form the foundation of my coaching practice. My work is not about fixing; it’s about empowering you to find your sense of agency and path to wellbeing, balance, and self-leadership.
